In the UPSC recruitment for the post of IAS & IFS 2022 Reserve List, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Rs. 100/- as the application fee. No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged category candidates. No fee is applicable for Women category candidates.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - Prelims - The preliminary examination will consist of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks. This test is meant to serve as a screening test only; The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.
2. Written Exam - Main - The question paper for the examination will be of conventional (essay) type. Each paper will be of three hours. Candidates will have the option to answer all the question papers except the qualifying language
3. Interview - The number of candidates to be called for interview/personality test will be approximately twice the number of vacancies to be filled. The Interview/Personality Test will carry 275 marks (not the minimum qualifying marks).
4. Merit / Cutoff - The marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Civil Services (Main) Examination (written part as well as interview/personality test) will determine their final ranking.

• Qualification: Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in Any Stream from Any Recognized University in India.

Indian Forest Service (IFS)

• Vacancies: 150
• Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from any recognized University in India with Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, and Agriculture as one of the subjects.
