Examinaton Fees

• General, OBC, EWS : Rs 200/-
• SC, ST, Women : No Fee.

In the UPSC recruitment for the post of Combined Defence Services 1st, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Rs 200/- as the application fee. No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Women category candidates.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - All the subjects paper will have objective type questions only. The question paper (test booklet) of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set in both Hindi and English languages.
2. Interview - The SSB process consists of a two stage selection process - Stage I and Stage II. Only those candidates who qualify Phase I are allowed to appear for Stage II.
3. Merit / Cutoff - Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test and SSB.

• Qualification: Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Physics, Mathematics in 10+2 Level, OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering, from any recognized University.

Officers Training Academy (OTA)

• Vacancies: 275

Officers Training Academy Women

• Vacancies: 18
• Qualification: Candidate must have passed/appearing Bachelor degree in any stream from any recognized university.
