In the TPSC recruitment for the post of Election Inspector, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General are required to pay Rs.300/- as the application fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically-challenged are required to pay Rs.250/- (SC/ST Candidates of Tripura Only) as the application fee.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - The preliminary Examination will consist of one paper containing Multiple Choice Type Questions on General Studies and Arithmetic with one hour thirty minutes duration.
2. Written Exam - The Main Examination will consist of two papers of Conventional Type Questions namely:- Paper 1: English and Paper- II: General Studies and Arithmetic: Full Marks for each paper will be 100 and time allotted will be 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper.
3. Interview - Candidates will be called for the Personality Test on the basis of the result of the Main Examination.
4. Merit / Cutoff - Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the Merit List drawn on the basis of the Examination Scores.
