Selection Procedure

1. Interview - The final selection shall be based on the overall merit of the candidate with 50% weightage given to her Academic/ Research Score and 50% weightage given to her performance in the interview.

Vacancy Details

Associate Professor (BC Backlog and Regular)

• Vacancies: 33 (1+32)
• Salary: Level–13A | ₹ 1,31,400 - 2,17,100/-
• Qualification: The candidate must have a good academic record, with a PhD degree in an applied subject and a Master's degree in an applied subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed ) should be. ,
• Experience Required: A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University.

Professor

• Vacancies: 17
• Salary: Level–14 | ₹ 1,44,200 - 2,18,200/-
• Qualification: The candidate should have PhD degree in applied subject.
• Experience Required: A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at an equivalent level at the University.

A total of 33 (1+32) vacancies are available for the position of Associate Professor (BC Backlog and Regular).
A total of 17 vacancies are available for the position of Professor.

The salary for the post of Associate Professor (BC Backlog and Regular) is set at Level–13A | ₹ 1,31,400 - 2,17,100/-.
