Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - a. Prelims: The online preliminary examination consisting of objective test of 100 marks will be conducted online. This exam will be of 1 hour duration. b. Mains: The exam will have 190 objective questions of 200 marks. This exam will be of 2 hours 40 minutes. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in objective tests. For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks prescribed for the question will be deducted.
2. Merit / Cutoff - Provisional selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Examination.

• Salary: Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)
• Qualification : Candidate must have Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31/12/2023.
