 OSSC Examination Educational Qualifications –  Candidate Must Have Passed Graduation in Any Stream and for Station Master(Fire Service) Post Candidate must have Complete Graduation in Science or Engineering.

Age Limit Details of OSSC for 218 Sub Inspector Posts

As on 01/01/2017 Minimum – 21 Years. Maximum – 25 Years. Upper Age Limit Shall be Relaxed by 05 Years for SC / ST / SEBC / female Candidates.

Selection Process of Sub Inspector for 218 Posts

Selection May be Based on. 1. Preliminary Examination. 2. Physical Measurement Test. 3. Main Written Examination. Physical Efficiency Tests(For Men of All Categories) 1. Running 1.6 kms. in 08 Minutes. 2.Cycling 1.6 kms. in 05 Minutes. 3. Long Jump of 3.66 Meters in Length in three Attempts. 4. Cross Country Race 05 Kms Within 40 Minutes. 5. Running Over Low Hurdles of 77 cms. Heights, 100 Meters with 10 flights within 25 Seconds. Additional  Test for Station Officer for Fire Service  1. High Jump 1.22 Meter in 3 Chances. 2. Swimming – 100 Meters. 3. Rope Climbing – Climb upto Height of 06 Meters from the Ground Level using his Hands Only in 3 Chances. 4. Detecting Acrophobia by ladder Climbing up to 08 Meters from the ground in 03 Chances  Only. Physical Efficiency Tests(For Women of All Categories) 1. Running 1.6 kms. in 10 Minutes. 2.Cycling 1.6 kms. in 07 Minutes. 3. Long Jump of 2.77 Meters in Length in three Attempts. 4. Cross Country Race 04 Kms Within 40 Minutes. 5.
