Reservations

There shall be 10% reservation of notified vacancies in the rank of Constable (Civil) in each district for Home Guards. The selected Home Guard candidates will be placed in the category to which they belong.
There shall be 10% reservation of notified vacancies in the rank of Constables (Civil) in each district for Group 'D' employees of Police Department. The selected Group 'D' candidates will be placed in the category to which they belong.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - Objective Type with MCQ Type. Time Duration - 120 Minutes & Maximum Marks - 100. There will be 1 mark for each correct answer. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
2. Physical Exam - Qualifying in nature; (No Marks)
3. Medical Exam

Qualification : The candidates must have passed the +2 Examination by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or by any other recognized Board/Council. Must be able to speak, read and write Odia; and Must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination.
