In the NIT Meghalaya recruitment for the post of Faculty, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Rs 1000/- as the application fee. No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women category candidates.

• Qualification: Ph.D.
• Experience Required: Three years after Ph.D. or six years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute/ R&D Labs/ relevant industry .

Associate Professor

• Vacancies: 04
• Unreserved: 04
• Salary: Pay Level 13A2 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
• Qualification: Ph.D.
• Experience Required: ix years after Ph.D. of which at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP ₹8,000/-. OR Nine years total working experience, of which three years should be after Ph.D., with at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP ₹8,000/-

Professor

• Vacancies: 03
• Unreserved: 03
• Salary: Pay Level 14A of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
• Qualification: Ph.D.
• Experience Required: Ten years after Ph.D. or thirteen years total working experience, out of which seven years should be after Ph.D. At least three years at the level of Associate Professor.

A total of 09 vacancies are available for the position of Assistant Professor (Grade-II).
A total of 11 vacancies are available for the position of Assistant Professor.
A total of 04 vacancies are available for the position of Associate Professor.
A total of 03 vacancies are available for the position of Professor.

The salary for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade-II) is set at Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade-II) is: Ph.D..
The salary for the post of Assistant Professor is set at Pay Level 12 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Assistant Professor is: Ph.D..
The salary for the post of Associate Professor is set at Pay Level 13A2 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Associate Professor is: Ph.D..
The salary for the post of Professor is set at Pay Level 14A of Pay Matrix (7th CPC).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Professor is: Ph.D..
