Examinaton Fees

In the NIC recruitment for the post of Scientist & Technical Assistant , the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay ₹ 800/- as the application fee. No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women category candidates.

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test - The written test will be in online mode and the question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 120 marks to be answered in a maximum of 3 hours. The medium of written examination will be in English only. Each question will carry 1 (one) mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
2. Interview - Only shortlisted candidates (based on merit position and reservation policy etc.), who qualify the written test, will be called for interview. The weight-age of marks for written test and interview will be in the ratio of 85:15. It is mandatory to appear in the interview for selection.
