Examinaton Fees

• General, EWS, OBC : Rs. 300/-
• SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women : No Fee.

In the ICMR NIV recruitment for the post of Technician, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, EWS, OBC are required to pay Rs. 300/- as the application fee. No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women category candidates.

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test - candidates will be required to appear for an Online Computer Based Test (CBT). Information for test will be provided in the Admit card.

The vacancy details for the post of Technician released by ICMR NIV are as follows:

A total of 49 vacancies are available for the position of Technical Assistant.
A total of 31 vacancies are available for the position of Technician – I.

The salary for the post of Technical Assistant is set at Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Technical Assistant is: 1st class three year Bachelor's degree in relevant Discipline from a recognized University. (For discipline wise details please read Advt.).
The salary for the post of Technician – I is set at Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200).
The minimum qualification required for the post of Technician – I is: 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and At Least one year Diploma in relevant discipline from a govt recognized institution. (For discipline wise details please read Advt.).
