In the CSIR recruitment for the post of Technical Assistant, the application fee details are as follows: No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women, Ex-Servicemen category candidates. Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS, Other are required to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - Candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for Trade Test. Those who qualify in the trade test will be called for competitive written test. There will be three papers [Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III] OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice & The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English Language.
2. Merit / Cutoff - The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.
