In the CBSE recruitment for the post of TET January 2024 Last Date Extended, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Single Paper: Rs. 1000/- | Both Paper: Rs. 1200/- as the application fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically-challenged are required to pay Single Paper: Rs. 500/- | Both Paper: Rs. 600/- as the application fee.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - PAPER-II : Timings – 09:30 am to 12:00 noon | PAPER-I : Timings – 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM

The selection procedure for the post of TET January 2024 Last Date Extended in CBSE will include the following stages: Written Exam - PAPER-II : Timings – 09:30 am to 12:00 noon | PAPER-I : Timings – 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM, and other required tests.

Vacancy Details

Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

• Qualification: Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” “(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher”.

Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)

• Qualification: Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- a year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*. OR Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. The program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

How to Apply

1. Candidates can apply through online mode.
2. Click on the Apply Online link given in the Important Links section.
3. Read the instructions then proceed to apply online.
4. Fill in all the mandatory details e.g. Name, father's name, date of birth, e-mail address, mobile number, qualification etc. in the application form.
5. Follow the instructions to get the registration number and password and complete the registration process step by step.
6. Upload the scanned copy of the documents in the prescribed size.
7. Before submission, one should preview the application form and check all the columns carefully.
8. Take a printout of your application form for future reference.
9. Online applications can be submitted on or before 01st Dec 2023.
