- Experience Required: One year experience in Agricultural Extension work in the Central or State Government or UTs.

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare of the Government of India is seeking applications to fill the position of Extension Officer in the Directorate of Extension. The position is a General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted post with a pay band of Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- or Level 10 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC. The eligibility criteria for applicants include a Master’s Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute, or a Master of Business Administration with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute, or a Master’s Degree in Rural Management from a recognized University or Institute, among other qualifications.
