Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test - The candidate will have to appear in a Computer Based Test of 60 marks consisting of 60 objective type multiple choice questions on English Composition and General Awareness. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking and the exam will be of 1 hour duration.
2. Technical Assessment - candidates equivalent to fifteen times of the advertised vacancies (in order of merit) would be shortlisted for English Shorthand and Spreadsheet Tests. English Shorthand & Transcription Test -The candidate will take dictation in English Shorthand at the speed of 80 words per minute and then transcribe the same on computer at the speed of 20 words per minute, if a candidate makes more than 8% mistakes then he/she will not be considered to have passed the test. Spreadsheet Test - This test will be of qualifying nature only, will carry 10 marks and will be of 10 minutes duration. To qualify the Spreadsheet exam, a candidate has to score 40% or more i.e. 4 or more marks.
