Examinaton Fees

In the NTRO recruitment for the post of Aviator-II and Technical Assistant, the application fee details are as follows: No fee is applicable for SC, ST, Physically-challenged, Women category candidates. Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS, Other are required to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee.

Relaxations

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and other special category candidates as per the instructions issued by the Central Government.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - The written examination (OMR based) for both the posts will be conducted on the same day. It will consist of 100 questions (80 questions - 'Computer Science & IT' or 'Electronics & Communication' and 20 questions - Mental Ability & Reasoning) and each question will carry 2 marks. There will be negative marking of 0.5 marks.
2. Computer Based Test - Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their merit position in Stage-I (Written Test) and reservation policy in the ratio of 1:3 only will be called for Stage-II (Interview). The minimum qualifying marks for Phase-II (Interview) will be 40% marks for unreserved category and 30% marks for reserved category candidates out of maximum 50 marks. The Interview will be conducted at New Delhi only.
