In the IRDAI recruitment for the post of Assistant Manager, the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Rs. 750/- as the application fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically-challenged are required to pay Rs. 100/- as the application fee.

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test - It is a qualifying exam to be eligible for Phase II - Descriptive Test. The Tests will be conducted in English and Hindi (except for the Test of English Language which will be provided in English only). 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Written Exam - Candidates must appear in Phase II - Descriptive Examination for all three papers. A separate Admit Card will be issued for this test which will be conducted in English and Hindi (except for the Test of English Language which will be provided in English only). Time Table for Phase II - Descriptive Test will be intimated to the concerned candidates along with the admit card of Phase II.
3. Interview - Candidates who are shortlisted in Phase II - Descriptive Test will subsequently be called for Interview.
4. Merit / Cutoff - Final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in Phase II - Descriptive Test and Interview together (Combined Score) in order of merit. Phase II - The weightage of the Descriptive Test and Interview will be 85:15.
