Selection Procedure

1. Written Exam - Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Exam.
2. Interview - Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the Interview.
3. Merit / Cutoff - Merit list will be drawn on the basis of the marks obtained in the Highest Qualification.
4. Medical Exam - Candidates will undergo Medical Examination before Joining.

Graduate Apprentice (BE/B.Tech)

• Salary: Rs.9000/-
• Qualification: Candidates must possess a B.Tech./B.E. Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Technician Apprentice (Diploma)

• Vacancies: 23
• Salary: Rs.8000/-
• Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• Vacancies: 11
• Salary: As per the rates prescribed by the government.
• Qualification: Candidates must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

The vacancy details for the post of Apprentice released by DRDO are as follows:

A total of 28 vacancies are available for the position of Graduate Apprentice (BE/B.Tech).
A total of 23 vacancies are available for the position of Technician Apprentice (Diploma).
A total of 11 vacancies are available for the position of Trade Apprentice (ITI).

How to Apply

1. Candidates can apply through both online and offline mode.
2. Interested candidates may submit the softcopy of their application in the prescribed format to admin.dept.nstl@gov.in via their Email Id.
3. Read the instructions then proceed to apply online.
4. Candidate Need to Download Application Form as Given in Important Link Section as Prescribed Size and Format.
5. Fill in all the mandatory details e.g. Name, father's name, date of birth, e-mail address, mobile number, qualification etc. in the application form.
6. Follow the instructions to get the registration number and password and complete the registration process step by step.
7. Upload the scanned copy of the documents in the prescribed size.
8. Before submission, one should preview the application form and check all the columns carefully.
9. Take a printout of your application form for future reference.
10. Candidates have to come with their Application Form and all Documents to NSTL, Visakhapatnam. on or before 28th June 2023.
