In the BSF recruitment for the post of ASI (Steno.) / Head Constable (Min.) 2022 Phase-1 , the application fee details are as follows: Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS are required to pay Rs. 100/- as the application fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen are required to pay NIL. as the application fee.

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test - There will be one composite paper for one hour and forty minutes duration consisting of above five parts and will be “OMR BASED OBJECTIVE TYPE WITH MULTIPLE CHOICE” or Computer Based Exam (CBE) which will be informed to all eligible candidates. Question paper will be printed bilingual i.e in English and Hindi both. The minimum qualifying marks of written test are as under i) Unreserved/EWS category - 35% ii) OBC/SC/ST categories - 33%

• Qualification: 12th (10+2) or Intermediate Class pass from a recognized Board or equivalent. and Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes OR in Hindi in 65 minutes, on computer.

Head Constable (Ministerial)

• Salary: Level - 4 (Rs. 25,500 - 81,100) in pay matrix
• Qualification: 12th (10+2) or Intermediate Class pass from a recognized Board or equivalent. and Typing Skill 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on the computer in 10 minutes.
